Websites with Free Games! 10/2/07

In this post I will be gathering all the most frequently browsed websites that contain free online games ranging from simple browser-based games to MMO's.

Browser-based:

www.gamesville.com
This website is pretty cool and almost like www.pogo.com, containing a bunch of games and also a lot of demo's for non browser-based games as well to try.

www.pogo.com
This website is all browser based games but the cool thing is you can spend your Tokens that you win from games to enter in raffle tickets to earn real money, either it be the daily $50 dollar drawing, weekly $250 dollar drawing or the monthly $1,000. Some games do have a Jackpot listed on them, meaning if you win the game for the recommended score to do a jackpot spin you have a chance to win the jackpot. I've seen one woman win $4,999 dollars from a poker game.

This is a pretty simple website which is loaded full of small mini-games. Great to go to if your bored at work, school or home.

www.arcadetown.com
Pretty good website also for games, along with some you can download to your computer and play from there instead of playing through your internet browser.

www.jagex.com
This has little to few games but they're also multiplayer meaning you can play against other people through the internet browser. Jagex is largely known by their MMORPG Runescape, so don't be afraid to check it out if you are into MMORPG's.

www.miniclip.com
Miniclip.com is also a good site to check out, has pretty good quality games. Also if you get bored you can hang out at Club Penguin which is like an online virtual community to chat and hang out in.

www.shockwave.com
shockwave.com is a good site also, these are all similar to eachother but have a little bit in differences which makes them unique. I recommend you check out all these sites.

Another good website, with some quite interesting games I should say...

This website is said to be the #1 Source but I'm not so sure, it does have a lot of free online games though.

www.gamehouse.com
Has a bunch of random games, if you got time to kill you should take a look.

www.iwin.com
iwin.com has an alright source of games, although a lot of trials of the games and not full versions, only able to get full versions of most games by buying them.

www.gamershood.com
Also another little site full of some interesting games, check it out.

This I'd have to say is a great free Online FPS! has pretty cool features. Should definitely take a look!

www.americasarmy.com
This is actually a free Online FPS made by the US Army and I'd have to say it is pretty cool and realistic so also give it a look.

www.fileplanet.com/FEAR-combat
This is the free FEAR Combat client, the game is pretty cool. Check it out.

Free MMO sites:
www.onrpg.com
This is probably one of the top most browsed websites for free MMO games. Mainly focusing on MMORPG's, they do have a good source of FPS, RTS, Open Beta's, Closed Beta's, Beta Sign-ups, etc. Definitely check them out!

www.gameogre.com
Gameogre.com is a pretty good source of free games also. Ranging from FPS, MMORPGs , Browser-based and even some MUD's. They're Game of the Week section is also helpful, gets you into the new popular free MMORPG's.

I'd say this site does have a decent amount of free MMO's, Beta's but not as much as the other two. I usually go here to check out the latest upcoming online games, new releases and games in production. They even have video interviews with the creator's of these games which is cool and fun to watch. Take a look.
